Apple released iOS 16 to everyone on Sept. 12 — the same time iOS 15.7 came out — and five days after Apple announced the new iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, and 14 Pro Max models. The iOS 16 update was in beta testing for 98 days total. To update your iPhone, go to Settings –> General –> Software Update.
