The San Diego County Water Authority is offering free yard signs and magnetic car decals to help residents and businesses share that they are conserving water during serious drought conditions.

The items are designed to be positive reminders about the need for everyone to conserve water now in case 2015 turns out to be another dry year. They display the message “When in Drought: I’m saving every day, every way.”

The items are available at the Water Authority’s headquarters, 4677 Overland Ave., San Diego. They will also be available during San Diego County Garden Friendly Plant Fairs from 8 a.m. to noon Oct. 25 at two locations of The Home Depot — 3838 W. Vista Way in Oceanside and 4255 Genesee Ave. in San Diego. Plant fair details, along with other water conservation resources, are at WaterSmartSD.org.

In addition, people can pick up yard signs at Mission Hills Nursery, 1525 Fort Stockton Drive, San Diego, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 1.
