Winners of New Cumberland’s “Yard of the Month” award are Dale and Diane Matics of Jefferson Street. Since purchasing the old Courier Printing Company building, the Maticses have made major renovations both inside and out. Their small yard is filled with rose bushes, hanging flowers and even a vegetable patch. For their efforts, they were given a plaque, a check (which they donated back to the city’s beautification efforts) and yard sign which will stay in their yard until next month’s winner is announced.
