When the elections are done, you can help keep those campaign yard signs out of landfills. The city of Orlando has six collection sites where you can drop those signs off to be recycled.
The metal frames will be recycled locally, and the plastic signs will be taken to a site in Plant City to help generate electricity.
Here are the drop-off sites and times they will be open:
City of Orlando collection locations:

• The Packing District Farmers' Market - 2310 North Orange Blossom Trail
• Broadway Methodist Church - 406 East Amelia Street
• First Unitarian Church of Orlando - 1901 East Robinson Street
